Carving our pumpkins.

The kids have been waiting to carve their pumpkins since we brought them home from the patch well over a week ago. I don't like to carve them early because they will rot and have to be thrown away. We thought we were going to be able to do them last night but daddy had a meeting at the Fire Dept. and he really wanted to be involved in this family event this year so we put it off until tonight.He misses out so much because of his job.
We all had a really good time. Daddy helped Skyler and MaKenna with their pumpkin and it wore him out. It was funny to hear him say that he was glad Aaron and Allen had outgrown wanting to carve a pumpkin this year.lol
Shan made some very yummy pumpkins cookies and brought them over as well. I just love this time of year. The weather has cooled down and the leaves are beginning to fall. I am enjoying all the fall decorations that people put out. It's hard to believe that it is Fall already and that only means one thing.... Christmas is fastly approaching. It will be here before you know it so enjoy Fall while you can. It will soon be gone! Happy Fall!!!
